ABOUT STEVE RAUSCH
Steve rausch is an alumnus of Arizona State University where he played from 1990-1992 and founder of Rausch Kicking. During his playing time at ASU Steve handled the punting, kick-off and long field goal duties for the Sun Devils. The relationships built with his teammates and coaches that still exist today is what Rausch values most from his time at ASU! Steve is a servant leader that has a true passion to develop and help others.
Coach Rausch’s knowledge and commitment to his specialists has developed some of the most recognized and accomplished specialists in the country at all levels. Some of the accomplishments by Rausch Kickings specialists include the following: Lou Groza Award Semi-Finalist, College All-Americans, High School UA All-Americans, National Specialists of the year and much more!

Our Process
Coach
At Rausch kicking we will demand as much of ourselves as coaches/instructors as we do of our athletes. The commitment of the RK staff to understand our athletes and their needs will always be top priority to ensure we provide all the tools and support for their development.

Encourage
Coaching styles will vary depending on personality, philosophy, etc and all athletes need to embrace it and focus on “What” is being communicated vs “How” it is being communicated. At Rausch Kicking, we believe that we can be objective/constructive by using an encouraging approach that leaves the specialist accountable and empowered.

Develop
At Rausch Kicking our specialists will be expected to put forth the same time/effort in the classroom/community as they do on the field and weight room. By applying the necessary preparation on/off the field and implementing the coaching, fundamentals and drills learned onto the field it will result in the mental and physical development needed to perform and execute at a high level on game day!
